About Someone Is Listening

Our mission is to create a world where no one has to face their struggles alone

Our Mission

Someone Is Listening was born from a simple yet powerful belief: everyone deserves to be heard. In a world that often moves too fast, we're creating space for genuine human connection—where people can share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with compassionate volunteers who are truly present.

We are not therapists or counselors. We are listeners. Sometimes, that's all someone needs—a caring person who will listen without judgment, without trying to fix, and without any agenda other than being fully present.

Our Values

Compassion

We approach every conversation with empathy and genuine care for each person's experience.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy matters. We protect your personal information and keep all conversations confidential.

Non-Judgment

This is a safe space free from criticism, advice-giving, or judgment of any kind.

Accessibility

Our service is completely free and available to anyone who needs someone to listen.

Respect

We honor each person's story, boundaries, and right to be heard on their own terms.

Volunteer-Driven

Powered by individuals who donate their time because they genuinely care about helping others.

Who We Help

Whether you're experiencing stress, loneliness, grief, anxiety, or just need someone to talk to— we're here. You don't need to be in crisis to reach out. Sometimes the most healing thing is simply knowing that someone cares enough to listen.

Our volunteers are trained in active listening and creating safe spaces for conversation. While we are not a substitute for professional mental health services, we offer a human connection that can make a meaningful difference.

Our Volunteers

Every volunteer goes through a screening and training process to ensure they can provide a safe, supportive listening experience. They come from diverse backgrounds but share a common commitment: to be present for others in their time of need.
